<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">There was a few sides, a vegetarian pizza ($19.90), a vegetarian pasta ($19.50) and a vegetarian risotto ($22.90). I thought these all sound like pretty good options. I dismissed the risotto as out of budget, and decided to go for the pizza as I wanted to share.

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Three of us tried this pizza and we all agreed there was something a bit off about it. The pizza had: char-grilled fennel, roasted capsicum, pumpkin,mushrooms, asparagus, leek, fetta, thyme,parsley, spinach and basil on a tomato base sauce. It may have been the fennel that gave it the odd flavour. It wasn't unpleasant, but I didn't feel the desire to finish it. The base of the pizza was really nice though, and the dough was cooked perfectly.

However, it comes from a small restaurant in Whittier, California, which I realise isn't the most useful place. I tried to put the epicness of this burger out of my mind when I tried the burger at Grill'd.

They had three burgers on the menu:

GARDEN GOODNESS / $12.50
Premium quality veggie pattie with beetroot, tasty cheese, avocado, salad, relish & herbed mayo.
FIELD OF DREAMS / $12.50
Grilled field mushroom, basil pesto, roasted peppers, tasty cheese, salad & herbed mayo.
BOMBAY BLISS / $12.50
Premium quality chickpea pattie with roasted peppers, tzatziki, salad & relish.

and I tried the Field of dreams, and had a taste of the Garden Goodness.

Field of dreams

So this burger really wasn't special. The mushroom was supposed to be the patty, which would have been okay, but the way it was cooked gave it a really odd flavour which seemed to ruin the rest of the burger for me. Unfortunately, my favourite bit of the burger was the bun.

Garden Goodness

I think the Garden Goodness was probably better, but I still didn't really like it. The beetroot was a nice addition.

All in all, I didn't really like them, I prefer the Jus Burger Pumpkin burger out of any Perth burgers I've had so far, but it will be hard to beat that one in California...
It was really delicious. The mushrooms were cooked just how I like them, and the whole dish just worked. I wish that I had ordered it, and I am planning on going back just in order to eat one for myself. I didn't get to try the cheese croquettes, but I hear they were really nice too.
They did (almost) all of their hotdogs with a vegan sausage. It was delicious. It's hard to get good veggie sausages, and I really did like this one. The prices were good too at around $11 for a lot of things. The hotdogs were huge and packed with all sorts of things. I had the Mischief, which was like a nachos hot dog. It included "Premium bratwurst, tasty tomato relish, avocado with garlic & lime, aged cheddar, baby spinach, tortilla chips, jalapenos & sour cream". I thought it was great. Their sides of chips were only $3.50 as well, and they had delicious milkshakes for $5, so it's a relatively cheap night out.

The place is also really nicely decorated. It has a really fun feel. The tables are covered in Where's Wally books, and they have a Wally hidden on their wall. The seats are either bus seats or drum kit seats.

I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a cosy, relaxed night out with friends.
I guess this shows just how much attention I've been paying, I thought it was still Bobby Dazzlers. That said, this place is much more fancy. The place feels really big, which is surprising considering its location right in the heart of the malls.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

Everything was really expensive here. For its location, I wasn't surprised. As far as mains go there was a vegetarian kebab ($26) and a Greek pizza ($17.00 for small and $25.50 for large). There was also a cheese platter (Brie, cheddar: $14, sapphire creamy blue: $16 or 3 cheese plate: $24). They had some interesting sides as well ranging between $7 - $10. I went for the Greek pizza, it had Baby spinach, ricotta cheese, spice mix and mint. I went for a small one, as I tend not to eat too much.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

My friend also ordered this pizza, in the large size. The large size pizza was about the same size as you'd expect a small pizza to be, and the small one was tiny. My friend really enjoyed his, but I didn't really like mine. If you like mint, then definitely try it, but otherwise I thought it was a bit boring. It mostly just tasted like doughy pizza with cheese on top. I got a second opinion on this, and two out of three didn't really like it. Another friend who had eaten it before claimed "It was nice enough, but I wouldn't order it again".
I guess our group is looking for a bit of variety so I've just decided to review everywhere we go.

Raah is a Middle eastern style restaurant with a stylist look and prices you would expect. This meant, of course, that nothing was within my budget. It was a sharing style place, and that would have been great if I wasn't a vegetarian. Out of the "More substantial" menu there was only one vegetarian option. We ordered a few Meeze dishes are well, where there were a few more options.

I started the night with a Turkish Delight martini. It was amazing. It tasted like liquid turkish delight with vodka. It wasn't cheap, but I'd definitely recommend it.

Out of the Mezze dishes I got to try the corn dish (Chunky cut corn on the cob with sumac-dried lime butter) and the boreks (Mixed cheese and dill boreks). They were at bit pricey at $10 each, as you only got 4 pieces. The corn was really amazing. The subtle lime flavour really worked. The boreks were nice, but not really my thing.

The one vegetarian main was "Sweet potato, lentil and golden raisin tagine with lemon pickled turnip, parsley and preserved lemon salad" and was $26. This would be out of my budget, but I guess things are different when you are sharing everything equally. It was the cheapest of the mains, which mets my philosophy of "Vegetarian food should be cheaper".

The sweet potato crisps on top were really nice. Probably the best part of the dish for me, which was overall slightly too spicy for my liking. I'm not very good with spice, so perhaps it would appeal to almost everyone else.

Somewhat unusually for me I had a dessert. All of the desserts were between $8-$12.
If you are looking for a nicer place than I normally review, then go to Raah. It's probably not the best choice for a vegetarian on a budget, however.
I really like Rosie O'Gradys in Northbridge, so I thought I'd give the one in Freo a try.

I ordered the veggie burger. It was $15.90, which wasn't the most expensive in the world, but also not the cheapest.

The burger, which sounded great on paper (Tofu, pumpkin, potato and feta cheese burger on a toasted bun with aoili, lettuce, tomato and beetroot relish) was pretty much inedible. I couldn't finish it. In fact, I took about 2 bites, gave up and ate the chips. Suddenly $15.90 makes for expensive chips.

Would not recommend. At all.

Outside, it looks a little dodgy, but once you are inside there is a very nice restaurant section, which included table service, and a waiter that did everything with one hand behind his back. Our group felt a little out of place, though, as we seemed to be about half the age of the rest of the patrons.

Food Choices
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Minimal. Actually, there was only one vegetarian main. A vegetable tart, and it was $21.50. Which was over budget. All of their meals were over budget, which really surprised me. There was the usual sides, as well as a Soup of the day, which was a reasonable price. It was potato and leak, which was vegetarian. However, I went for a creamy fettuccine and mushroom meal, without the chicken. It was, like everything else, over budget at $21.50.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Food Quality
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

It was nice enough. I was quite hungry, and I enjoyed it. That said, it wasn't $21.50 worth of food. It wasn't amazing at all. Overall, it was a bit bland. I feel like I could have made something better myself and saved myself a lot of money.

I wish I could comment on the soup, but I didn't try it. The garlic bread was cheesy and tasty, though. I guess, I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner as it's a bit more expensive for most mains. The options are also very limited, unless you want to eat only side dishes.
Just wanted to say I ordered their burger and I really didn't enjoy it. It just tasted like generic burger. Like you could get from Hungry Jacks, or a cheap frozen patty from the supermarket. Definitely would not recommend!
We were planning to go to the Garden, but there wasn't enough tables for everyone, so we ended up going across the road for delicious Japanese food. As this place isn't exactly my standard for these reviews I'm not going to stick to my proper format. It's hard to compare a restaurant to a pub.

Unlike most pubs there was plenty of vegetarian options. Almost every type of dish: sushi, udon, ramen, rice, etc had a vegetables only choice. The prices were pretty good too, mostly within the $10-$15 range.

I ordered vegetable ramen which was $12 and could have easily fed two of me. Even of a day I was really hungry I don't think I could have finished it. It was really nice though, I especially enjoyed the bits of sweetcorn as they were a little unexpected.

As it's not a pub, I wasn't planning on reviewing this place, so I didn't take a photo before I started eating. This was when I was done, which just goes to show the portion sizes.

I've eaten here before and always enjoyed it. The low prices and the large portion sizes make it great value for money, and the food is really tasty. So, if you're heading to The Garden on a Thursday night and you find it's completely packed head across the road to Banzai.

They had 3 vegetarian burgers on the menu, one of them being a "make your own" kind of thing. I went to for the Pumpkin burger ($13) as I had enjoyed the pumpkin burger at V Burgers (at least the first time I tried it).

The burger had crumbed pumpkin, goats cheese, pesto, lettuce and tomato. It wasn't the holy grail of burgers, and I'm not sure it was as good as the one from V burgers, but it was still nice. The cheese and tomato were the best bit for me. The bun was a little over-toasted, which was a little disappointing. Also, it was really big. I think I made the mistake of ordering a side of very average chips. They arrived first, which at the time I thought was good as I was really hungry, but then I ended up eating most of them before my burger arrived, and then I wasn't as hungry for it.

If you find yourself with a group of people craving burgers, yeah, order the pumpkin burger from here. It's good, but it's not amazing.
They didn't have them this time. It may have been because we were in the restaurant section; I didn't check.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Food Choices
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Usual sides, plus 2 x pizzas (Margherita, Mediterranean: $18, $20), 2 x salads (Greek, rocket: $15, $12.50) and a roasted vegetable tart ($20). The soup of the day was mushroom ($11). Having arrived late, my friends had already ordered, so I didn't have a chance to ask about the soup of the day, or I probably would have picked that. I didn't want to eat pizza, salad or sides, so that left me the with vegetarian tart. I wasn't looking forward to it, but I thought I'd give it a go.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I wasn't really a fan of the tart. It tasted a lot like a quiche. The vegetables were fresh enough, and really there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it just wasn't what I fancied that night. To be fair, it was nice, but just not to my tastes.
I suppose I didn't really have much to base this assumption on, so perhaps I was being a bit unfair.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Actually the choices wasn't bad. Besides the usual sides there was a $14.90 Brushetta, 3 different vegetarian salads (excluding the side salad); Garden ($10.90), Greek ($13.90) and Goats cheese ($20.90). There was a vegetarian pizza ($19.50) and two mains Three mushroom risotto ($22.90) and Spinach and ricotta cannelloni ($18.90).
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I felt vaguely obligated to get the cannelloni considering the price was in budget, but I just really fancied the risotto, so I splurged $2.90 over budget.

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Average. The rice was a bit undercooked, and it was a bit bland. It wasn't terrible, not by a long shot. I've definitely had worse, but there was just nothing special about it. To be honest, the risotto I cooked a few nights ago was better. As a small eater, I couldn't finish it and I don't like leaving things I've paid good money for; I would have preferred to have half for half the price.
So I went back last week and the menu had changed. There was no longer anything vegetarian available. However, they were able to make a vegetarian option pasta special for $20.50. It was quite good, and seemed reasonable. I just wanted to note that maybe it would be best to check the menu before you go, to see what they can do for you.
Freo is generally a little far away for most of our group, but we thought we'd give it a go. We had been there once before, about a year ago, and generally had a good time. We had sat outside on one of their long tables. This time, after fighting for a place to sit, we sat inside, cramped up against another group of people. As it's Christmas time, you would expect the place to be busy, and it's generally hard to accommodate a group of 14, but the ability to make a booking to ensure we had a table would have been nice. Having two of our group go home before we even ordered put a negative light on the evening.

Little Creatures isn't the kind of place where everyone gets one main meal, it's more of a sharing kind of place. They had a range of pizzas (including a couple of vegetarian ones for about $19-$22) and what I would usually call sides (including chips, corn cobs, nachos and salads).
I ordered the $19 mushroom pizza (mushrooms, mozzarella, olives) but replaced the olives with pumpkin and some frites ($9.50) which I shared with another person. The pizza was good but bottom was a little burnt. It didn't look burnt, but you could definitely taste it.
That said, it's hard to get nachos wrong unless they are very soggy.
Their code names, for the purpose of this blog, are: Lancelot, Guinevere, Morgan Le Fay and Galahad. I'm King Arthur, because I'm the fussiest and hardest to please.

V Burgers had 3 vegetarian bugers: Med-Veg, Halloween and Gucaloumi.

Morgan had the Med-Veg plus mushrooms. She described it as moist, messy and filling.

As King Arthur, I of course have something to say about all of them.

The Med-Veg whilst very nice, unfortunately fell into the warm sandwich trap. Everyone can make a nice veggie sandwich. It was also quite messy to try and eat.

The Gucaloumi also fell into the same trap. Whilst the cheese almost pulled off being a patty, it pretty much wasn't. I did like the cheese though and it was definitely an enjoyable warm cheese sandwich.

The Halloween, however, had a layer of crumbled pumpkin that could definitely pass off as a patty. It passes my definition of burger. I was pleasantly surprised, that seeing it had a patty, it wasn't horrible. The crumbed pumpkin was very nice, and seemed to work for the burger. It could have done with some more veggies, but I guess it can't have everything.

Edit (19/12/11): I had this burger again last Friday night, and whilst it was OK, It wasn't great. When I did this review, I tried a small portion of each burger, and last Friday I ate a whole one to myself. The onions, which I hadn't noticed the first time, were very overpowering, and made the experience mostly unpleasant. After I picked them out I was happier and whilst it was still a good burger, I can no longer label it amazing.

Would recommend!
They had two veggie burgers on the menu, the "Veggie Max" and the "Chickpea Chow Down" both for $15. Whilst the Veggie Max looked nicer, I was afraid of running into another warm sandwich and I ordered the Chickpea Chow Down.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
I like Tiger Lil's as a bar, my brother had his 21st there earlier this year, and it had a great atmosphere, nice cocktails, etc.

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Food Choices
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">There were two vegetarian options. A (non-standard) side, and a main. The main was a vegetarian curry for $18.95. The side was Spiced chickpea croquettes with lime yoghurt dipping sauce ($11.95). Now this would be fine, but I really cannot eat even the mildest of spicy foods. So this put me back at square one. I was tossing up between chips and onion rings, both $6.95 and I decided to go for the chips.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">
It's right on the waterfront which is really nice. I used to go to Hilary's boat harbour a lot as a kid, so it brought back a few memories for me.

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Food Choices
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">Wow, the prices were as impressive as the scenery! Mains included: portobello mushroom ($23.90), fattoush with grilled haloumi ($22.90) and two pizzas (bocconcini, roma tomato, basil & kalamata olives: $19.90 and pear & gorgonzola, fontina, mozzarella, caramelized sweet onions & chopped hazelnuts $20.90). There were the regular sides as well as grilled baby eggplant ($11), an antipasto plate ($23.50) and arrancini balls ($15). So not really very much within my budget.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">I decided to split a pear pizza, so even though $20.90 is technically over-budget, it was shared.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Food quality
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The jury is out on the pizza. Three people tried it. One really liked it, one really didn't and I'm still kind of undecided. It was very sweet because of the pear and the caramelized onions. The cheeses kind of gave a very sharp contrast in flavours. I guess if you're looking for something you know will be good, order the other pizza, but if you're willing to take a risk, get this one. I do like sweet things, but I'm not sure if It quite worked.
As my loyal readers know, I'm very picky about my veggie burgers, so I had to give it a go.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I was there with friends and we shared a vegetarian pizza, veggie burger and chips. To keep some suspense I'll talk about the pizza first. It was pretty good. I'd recommend it when you're looking for a good quality pizza. I enjoyed the crumbled feta.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">It was ... good! I was impressed! However, I'm afraid I can't say I've finally found my veggie burger of choice. It's not really a burger. My definition of burgers usually includes some sort of patty (be that beef, chicken, lentils, chickpeas, etc) and unfortunately this was just vegetables and mushrooms. It was delicious, don't get me wrong, but it was more of a warm sandwich. I'm not very picky about those, and I'd has very nice, similar sandwiches on plenty of occasions.
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">So, was there a nice meal at Pink Pepper, yes! Was there a nice veggie burger, unfortunately not. I remembered it to be kind of grungy, and I didn't think it would be vegetarian friendly.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">Food Choices
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">There was basically one option for a main. The "Woody Vegetarian". It described itself as a "potato and vegetable cake" and was $22. That was outside my budget, so I looked at the starters, besides the usual there was spring rolls, and a grilled mushroom with salad, both $11. I ordered the mushroom, my friend ordered the Woody Vegetarian and the spring rolls.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
Food quality
Good! All three things were good. The grilled mushroom dish would probably not be enough for a normal person, but I don't eat much, so it was fine. I wasn't a big fan of the dressing on the salad, but it wasn't smothered in it. It would make a good entree for bigger eaters, or a pleasant meal for small eaters like me.

The spring rolls were big and tasty. Hard to go wrong with spring rolls. I enjoyed the plum sauce too.

The Woody Vegetarian was good too. I didn't get to try it, but my friend said it was tasty. It looked good. It had all the things a good vegetarian dish needs. Piles of vegetables and beans, with some bread and sauce. I'd recommend it. It was only just over budget!
It's one of my favourite pubs, as a pub. It has a pretty good atmosphere. I like the outside, yet undercover area. I had a private function there for New years eve, and it was cheap and everyone had a good night. They had a private "downstairs" area, that looks kind of like a dungeon. It's cute, I like it. I was excited to see how they went for food. I wanted to see The Oxford in my top 5.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Ccccccombo breaker! Back to the drawing board. No options. Seriously. There was a vegetarian pasta on the special menu that was $27.50 and some sides! That was all. Otherwise, no options. To make matters worse, there were lots of meat dishes with amazing sounding (vegetarian) ingredients such as lentils and quinoa. Basically they had everything they needed in their kitchen to make something amazing, and they were choosing not to. I looked through their sides menu, and they actually had a quite a range, all for $7.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: left;">

I ordered the macaroni cheese. I was pleased. Most of the dishes were over $25, closer to $30 and I wanted to cut The Oxford some slack. I was going to give them high marks for value for money, even though mostly their meals were expensive, because I was able to eat something for $7.

But they disappointed me... In the worst possible way. The macaroni cheese had bacon in it! It's partially my fault. I should have asked if it did. That said my friend did said to the waitress when she took our order "I wanted a vegetarian dish... I guess I'll just get the mac and cheese", which implies a meat-less dish is expected. It could have been misinterpreted, but let's move on. I was able to take the dish back and get a meat-free version. This meant that by the time I had my meal, everyone else had finished eating. It also meant that I'd finished my drink, consequently drinking my calories, and thus no longer being hungry.

When I eventually got my meal I wasn't expecting much. It was pretty terrible. The pasta wasn't even macaroni, and it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted, and I'll quote my friend here "Like someone has taken some pasta and grated some cheese on top and gone DONE!". It really wasn't very special. My friend who had also ordered the same actually sent his back. I ate most of mine, but I wasn't impressed. Suddenly $7 seemed like a lot of money. I thought at first it was really reasonable for dinner, but when I realised I could get a bag of cheap pasta from Coles for 99c, and a block of cheese for a few dollars and I could make it myself it suddenly felt like a rip-off. In fact, I could make it better myself.
I ordered a pizza and shared it with my friend. I'm pretty sure I've had the Fat Vego before, and remember it to be good, but don't quote me on that. This time, however, I had the Tandoori pizza. If you like Indian food, but don't like spicy foods (like me, yes yes I know I'm picky), then this is the pizza for you. It was really tasty! You wouldn't think yoghurt on a pizza would be a good idea but it worked! It was a bit messy to pick up and eat, but other than that I was very pleased. I couldn't eat the whole thing, so I shared it with a friend. Nice and cheap. I had two other friends order pizzas, and they couldn't finish them either, so I'd definitely recommend this place to share a pizza.
It was a nice night and we sat outside. The beer garden has bench tables, grass and pool tables. It's a great place to chill.
Food Choices

I seem to be on a roll here, another place with plenty of options. Besides the usual sides there was primavera pesto quiche ($15), vegetarian burger ($16), gourmet pumpkin salad ($16), vegetarian and margherita pizza (small $11.50 / large $15.50) as well as a vegetarian asian platter (small $30 / large $50). Obviously the platter was outside of my price range, but the idea is that those are to share. Which is always a great option. Not only was there a heap of choices, they were all under $20! Dinner for as cheap as $11.50 is pretty rare these days.
I ordered the pumpkin salad.

It was really good. It was definitely my kind of salad. It had all the things that I love in a salad, plus things I wouldn't normally include, which just added to it. It contained "roasted butternut pumpkin, baby spinach, feta cheese & pine nuts tossed in a light honey balsamic dressing" and it was delicious. It had no rocket, which is great, because I don't like rocket. I am definietely a fan of baby spinach though, and the dressing was really nice. The pumpkin was cooked perfectly. $16 seems a lot for a salad, but compared to a lot of other pub prices, it was reasonable. I was very happy.

A friend ordered the quiche. She said it was average, and nothing to write home about. Her chips were a little bit too salty as well.
